Bryan had little-to-no life after Cry-Baby's original production...
Anyway, there have been surprisingly few productions of Fiorello! after its original Broadway staging, at least in my area. Not to say there haven't been any, of course, but I know that no high schools in the DC metropolitan area put it on in the last ten years, and I haven't heard of any recent regional productions.

Kismet!
I wish I could've caught it at Encores, but I love the recording. How different is Timbuktu?

Posted: 7/4/09 at 8:08pmThere was a pretty well recieved production in chicago a year or two ago of Fiorello. I think the little life shows now are Kismet and Applause.

Yea, a production of Fiorello was done last fall here in Texas.
My first thought was "Hallelujah, Baby" followed by "Passion."

Posted: 7/4/09 at 11:14pmIm glad that Grey Gardens has had alot of life after it closed. Why do the creators of Carrie not allow it to be produced. I am sure lots of theatres would kill to do it.

I believe High FIdelity is having a sit-down "local" production for a while in Chicago.
The Dead was performed for a few Xmas' in a row at the Court in Chicago.
And didn't Northlight Theatre (again, Chicago area) recently do Grey Gardens?

Buttrio Square was the title.
Some of the shows mentioned in previous threads were presented at the Musicals in Mufti series: Darling of the Day (twice), A Doll's Life, Me and Juliette, Grind.
Encores presented No Strings and Applause.
