Musicals with a cast of ten

Hi everybody. I'm looking for a black box production for next year. I want to keep it to ten people. It has to be somewhat school appropriate, but it can be more sophisticated then the norm for a high school (I want to push my actors). I'm looking for something with a strong female lead with more of a classical voice. I would also like something that could be played on just a piano.
I'm considering My Fair Lady and Passion. I've also dabbled with the idea of doing Souvenir but I would prefer something with a bigger name.

A few theatres in our area are doing CLUE: THE MUSICAL which doesn't have that many people in the cast, I think.

While these suggestions may not fit with a more "classical" voice, they ARE shows the kids might be interested in performing. Our local high school has done all of these small cast musicals in the past 5 years: Little Shop of Horrors, Avenue Q (School Edition which is still pretty sassy), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (which EVERY high school in our area seemed to do last year) and Godspell. I believe all are listed at MTI as small casts of 10. Good luck.

The Last Five Years, but the gimmick is that there's five of both of them.

Doesn't that just become 'They're Playing Our Song'?

I was thinking about Hello Again (exactly 10 characters) but then I read school appropriate...

I would kill to be able to do Hello Again. We've done Little Shop and we're currently doing Spelling Bee. We're not doing the ten person cast thing as a gimmick, we're allowed to use no more than ten people.

Years ago I saw a small-cast 110 IN THE SHADE off-off-Bway and it felt like THE RAINMAKER with a few songs thrown in. But that's not to say somebody else couldn't make it work.

Roundabout did a small-cast production starring Audra McDonald, directed by Lonny Price, that worked pretty well. That story doesn't need a big chorus.
