Shows I've seen with some thoughts on shows from this season:
HAMILTON - A+.
GROUNDHOG DAY - A. I honestly did not think I would enjoy the show this much, but it was funny and heartfelt. I recognize it has some flow issues but I still love it.
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - A.
WICKED - A.
SWEENEY TODD (BARROW STREET) - A. I saw Lewis and Carmello and both were great fits but Carmello really shined. Also, the pies were delicious.
THE GREAT COMET - A. A unique spectacle. The music and staging are what made this show great to me.
THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG - B+. Hilarious, though a few bits go on for a little too long. Cast has phenomenal timing.
MISS SAIGON - B-. Eva Noblezada was out and unfortunately her understudy did not quite have the power in her voice that Eva has. Jon Jon Briones was fantastic.
ALADDIN - C.
DEAR EVAN HANSEN - C. I had a lot of issues with how the shows themes were presented, and unlike Groundhog Day, I could not overcome said issues to enjoy the show.
ANASTASIA - C-. Disappointing and bland. I liked the movie as a child but I constantly wanted more in terms of the score and the staging.
BEAUTIFUL - C-.

-A Bronx Tale D- / NA and no interest
-Aladdin C / C
-Bandstand D+ / NA, but I LOVE the CD and hope to see in October if by some miracle it is still open
-Beautiful D / B (It was mediocre fun)
-Book of Mormon F / B (It doesn't to me hold up to repeated viewing -- I have seen it only 3 times, but I did enjoy it)
-Cats D / F-- (I have never hated a show as much as I hate Cats)
-Chicago B / A- (Not as good as the Fosse version, but great fun)
-Come From Away C+ / B- (pretty close...I just lean more to B than a more damning C)
-Groundhog Day F+ / NA and no interest
-Hamilton B- / A. not A++. I think it is over directed, which takes away from the overall experience.
-Kinky Boots B / B+
-Lion King F / C... I do love the first 3 minutes and periodic 'Julie touches', e.g., the stampede, the walk across the bush, etc.
-Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet F / B- ...I loved the staging, and had become somewhat familiar with the score before seeing, so I enjoyed a number of the songs, even if I was not very engaged. Also, I thought the cast as very good, although I detest Lucas Steele's voice (I liked his performance...just not his voice).
-On Your Feet B / B (and very surprised at that)
-Phantom of the Opera C / A (but I haven't seen it on Broadway in probably 20 years, so maybe that doesn't count)
-School of Rock B / B
-Sunset Boulevard A / A- (I found myself wandering a few times, but boy were the highs high)
-Waitress C+ / B- (same sort of distinction...I think I probably enjoyed it more than you, although I didn't think the music added much to the underlying story)
-War Paint C / NA and no interest
-Wicked C+ / B+ (an interesting one. I have seen it 6 times, (maybe 7 -- trying to remember) and enjoyed it, immensely although I think the direction, sets and costumes are awful, and I consider Dr. Dillamont's number of the Wiz's numbers (I think I remember that there are two) to be terrible filler
-- Dear Evan Hansen / A (First part of Act 2 kept this from being an A+: perfect).
-- Hello Dolly / A- (Disappointed with the overture, the orchestrations in general, and the 'holding back' during the crescendos in the title number and Put On Your Sunday Clothes, although it was otherwise a total joy. And Bette was simply not as good as Carol Channing in her original run or Pearl Bailey).
Just looking at this. Boy, are you tough...sis you used to be another person whose name shall not be used. Only kidding. I like the fact that everything was not an A or a B...just surprised by a few. I put mine next to yours for comparison. See Above.

I really only got in to Broadway this July, and so far I've seen all of these shows on lottery wins - except for Cats
Aladdin (saw it in August) - B+ - Super flashy, and really all that Broadway has to offer. Enjoyable, but I prefer more adult-oriented, emotional musicals
Cats (Saw it in July) - C+ - Great job as a revival, but it's still Cats, and I still don't like it
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Saw it in October) - B+ - I'm a huge Christian Borle fan, and I think the show was honestly really great and entertaining for a kids show
Groundhog Day (Saw it in August) - A- - Absolutely loved it! Favorite show I've seen. There were some flaws, but I loved the cast and the staging was amazing. Andy Karl is now another one of my faves
War Paint (Saw it today) - B- - My mom liked this a lot more than me. I had no interest in the story, but I did enjoy seeing Patti and Christine since I'm not sure how much longer they'll be doing this

Oh, and to add to that, I also saw my friend's dad's play called Small World, off Broadway. I'd give that a A because it was an extremely interesting story that I'd never really heard about. Plus it was in a really intimate space so I felt like I was right there
My iNterest has turned to Off-Broadway this season. Had an iNvite to Meteor Shower but can't go. So the only show I can rate is THE BAND'S VISIT.
THE BAND'S VISIT - A
