I got my today in the store! CD World in New Jersey frequently is found breaking street date the weekend prior. It happened this weekend, Wicked was out there, and the DVD releases for Tuesday. Sounds GOOD!

Oh, you're lucky! How is it? I'll probably have to wait until after Christmas to get it. I love it when you order things and they come before the release date, LOL. That happened when we ordered the 5th Harry Potter off Amazon and it came a day early. It was EXCITING! :)

That's what I thought, I figured the store's register would come up with a code not to sell, but nothing happend, so I bought it and listened to it on the way into the city today to see Caroline, or Change (a wonderful show that should also get a cast recording!).

I hate you! LOL! I can't wait until Thursday, when mine comes in the mail. The only thing I don't understand is, if the CD comes out Tuesday and I clicked 1-day shipping, why does it say I'm getting it Thursday? I want it Wednesday!

About the cd... It is great but, my complaint is the fact that the music OVER POWERS the vocals a lot so it fades out the singers and blares lol..maybe it's my cd player? I will wait till you all get yours this week. I pre-ordered mine from the merch people at the Gershwin in previews.

I got it yesterday also! I started screaming when I saw it, and it's all I've been listening to. I think both women sound really good on the cast recording, but nothing compares to live...

I saw your messages about getting your CD already and so I got excited - thought maybe mine had been shipped. Sadly, no. My account still says that the shipping date is the 17th and that the estimated date of arrival is the 19th. I'm SO JEALOUS!

someone posted on this board where you can get clips..on some website. The cd stayed very true to the show. but, when you all get your cds please tell me you agree that the background music is far too loud..especially in "defying gravity"
