My Wicked Prize

So, a while back I won one of the Wicked prizes from monstersandcritics.com. I knew I won the book, and I was delighted to wakeup this morning with it sitting outside my door. What I was not especting was that it was signed by the principal chicago cast: Ana Gasteyer (Elphaba), Kate Reinders (Glinda), Rondi Reed (Madame Morrible), Gene Weygandt (The Wizard), Heidi Kettenring (Nessarose), Telly Leung (Boq), Steven Skybell (Doctor Dillamond), Kristoffer Cusick (Fiyero), and Kristy Cates (standby for Elphaba), not to mention they sent it in a Wicked bag! Haha Part of Kate Reinders sig is smeared, and under it is part of her hand print (i'm figuring it was her)...haha kind of funny. What a wonderful day, not to mention I picked up Rent (the Maureen cover), too!

Great gift! Congrats!

Hope you enjoy reading the book. I had read it a long time ago, long before the musical came out. It's quite different from the musical (quite deep and dark, actually), but an excellent book. Very well-written.

the book is MUCH better than the musical.......it really delves into the story in a way the musical cannot.
I firmly believe everyone going to the show should be required to read the book first.

The book is absolutely fantastic and the musical doesn't hold a candle to it, imo.

I swear, I wouldn't read that copy. You can pick it up for less than $15. I would seal that one up and keep it safe. Excellent prize!

Yea, better keep it safe - that Kate Reinders autograph will be worth somethign in a few years...
