N2N or Pippi? What's a gay bf to do?

Okay so here is my predicament. My one best girlfriend has not seen N2N yet. So being her gay husband, I bought her tickets for to see the national tour when it is here in Minneapolis. I bought 2 tickets in row D of the orchestra for us to see the show. I saw the show back in NYC with Ripley, BDJ and that whole group. But I was kinda mid mezze and want to see the show up closer.

So right after I bought these tickets my other best friend booked the national tour of Pippi Longstocking and it is going to be in Ohio (where I am from) at the exact same time. Do I see N2N and not see my best friend's first national tour? Or do I dump my one girlfriend for another? Its literally my two best friends in the entire world. So I know no matter what I choose I will end up hurting one or the other. I am also dying to see N2N again but know that hopefully the tour will keep running and I can catch it somewhere. Maybe even Cleveland in June but that's iffy. Okay I just needed some opinions. Thanks

The only way to make a really neutral choice is to stick with the plans you made first and explain that to the other friend.

If not, you already have next to normal tickets. Surely your other friend will understand that you had already got something planned for that date.

A good friend sticks with the plans made first, and a good friend understands when their friend can't attend their show because of a previous commitment. Is the tour coming anywhere near Minneapolis?

All the touring houses I'm familiar with would be willing to exchange the tickets for another date. I'm sure you'd be able to do that especially well for n2n, which typically wouldn't sell as other tours.

The easiest solution is to stick to your original plan, as others have said. You had a prior commitment, and that's understandable - however...you have already seen N2N. Another option would be to give your tickets to gf A, who has not seen the show, as a gift, explaining that you'd like to support gf B. Gf A can then take someone else with her. If either gf is really hurt or jealous, then maybe you need new gfs.

But I'm baffled too to hear that N2N is only in town for one day. Something isn't making sense here.

Well, maybe he's only free certain days to do certain things? You're all leaving out the possibilities of a job, a life, other social activities... He's not necessarily saying N2N is only in town for one day, only that this may be his only opportunity to see it while it's in town.
