Just wanted to give y'all a heads up! They're going backstage at Hamilton as part of the kickoff of a new Sunday show with Willie Geist. It starts at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 17. I found a link!

It kind of sounds like that, doesn't it? CBS Sunday Morning did a segment on Hamilton ages ago, though, and it was very good. I think this show is trying to be its competition, but they're going to have to do pretty good to compete with Charles Osgood and his bow ties! I'll tune in, though, it should be a good segment.

Anyone catch the end of the segment where Willie said that Leslie is leaving the show at the end of the summer!? No joke, watch the segment. Another departure this summer as anticipated.

Yes, I did catch that. Not surprised, he's played the part for over a year and wants to pursue his music.

as has been rehashed on this forum for months and months, you can SAFELY ASSUME that the MAJORITY of actors -- primarily principal and featured actors -- will be gone by the end of the summer.

As I said in the Hamilton obsessed thread (WHY ARE THERE SO MANY THREAD?!), I honestly thought if Leslie wins the Tony (which let's be honest, he really only has Danny to compete against), he would be the most likely to stay other than Renee.

I would like to see the show one more time before the remaining OBC leaves. I've seen it twice with Javier as Alexander. I would like to see Lin one time in the role.

He said during the summer. I have tickets on 7/23 and can't imagine not seeing him.

Didn't realize there was a whole thread devoted to the interview, but I just wrote in the main Hamilton one that my favorite part of it is when Geist cites a lyric from the show incorrectly.
