It's a little sad that a garbage production of Annie remains on tour and profits handsomely, when they had a shockingly brilliant Sweeney Todd tour that clearly wasn't making as much money as Annie, otherwise it would've still been touring today.
Sweeney had a set length before they began touring. Good too see Drowsy continuing!

^ I was glad to see Drowsy on the list too :)
Annie wasn't "that" bad of a tour either.
I suggest joining this site. It is ran by NETworks & many of the actors are on it. Not to mention HQ Production photos.

I was beyond underwhelmed when I saw it... I almost wanted to walk out at intermission, but it's been on the road for a while, so I guess I'm in the minority.

^ defyingravity07's quote made perfect sense, it was to emphasize the word 'that'.
Handel's Messiah will air on PBS June 3.

I love rock, and I love Handel... so I REALLY need to check that out. AND... PBS is airing an 'In The Heights' special on wednesday by the way! SO excited!!
I thought the Annie tour was pretty great when it first started. It was equity and included the new song. I was more than happy with it.

Have you SEEN the non-union tour as well?
I assume NETworks is using the Bway staging by the looks of the Art.
The typical logo for regional productions with their own staging.

That is not the purpose of quote marks!
Lizzie did you suffer quotation mark abuse as a child? Did they come home drunk & take their frustration out on you?

The AIDA tour a couple years ago used the same artwork (I'm like 70% sure) and the staging was completely different. I hope the Beauty and the Beast staging is the same as the original... because I have my tickets already :). But whatever the staging is... I hope it's good.

I heard that they would be the same set designs as the last UK tour produced by Disney, and the same design used for the last Disney produced US tour.. not the one from that video..
The one that was recorded with the lobby cam? THANK GOD!!
Oh, I hope not. The last US tour of Beauty and the Beast was pretty bare bones.
Is South Pacific going out NON EQUITY... if that is true... that makes me LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No. NETworks produces Equity too.
Do we know if Beauty and the Beast is going to be equity or non-equity?
The Casting Call went out for Non-Equity actors.

I'm so happy about Beauty and The Beast! I just wish they were stopping a little closer to New York, it seems Waterbury, CT is the closest.
