They said they're doing an all new, never before seen production, but that they're working with original designers...

That reads, to me, as though they've hired the original designers, but they're making something new. So my guess is that, no, it won't be based on the B'way one.

So you aren't granted a flight or drive to the city in which you're seeing a tour. That is so stupid.

I guess they think you would choose a stop in driving radius. I would take it. Also each of the shows is also running a version of the contest on their own.
