Well if this revival happens sooner rather than later hopefully, Kudisch will still be in 9 to 5 and won't be able to do ALNM, I assume.
But I do hope that Garber and everyone else you mentioned stay with the show, including Laura. I never saw ALNM so I don't know how big of a role Anne is but Laura has said that she enjoys being the supporting actress and not the lead, so... maybe she'd do it? Nonetheless, I'm very excited for this revival.
I'm not knocking Laura, but nobody, NOBODY, will ever top Victoria Mallory. Her "Soon" is absolutely thrilling. She was perfect for that role.

I'm more curious as to who will direct/design.
A pipe dream I know, but for me it would be so wonderful if they went back to the beginning and recreated Boris Aronson's stunning original designs. Of course all those birch trees painted on plexiglass panels tracked into the stage (they'd slide across stage and cinematically "wipe" one scene from another, at the end of act I finally revealing the estate, etc)may be be too expensive for the Roundabout...
I liked the NYCO revival but found that empty bare stage boring and ill suited for the show. Now that many opera companies and ballets are going back, with revelatory results, to the original designs (remember that when Sondheim worked with Aronson the set model often came first and Sondheim and Prince and others would work with the set in mind), why shouldn't Broadway?

Everything is too expensive for the Roundabout. If they revive it, we may have a synthezizer, musical saw and plastic comb as an orchestra.

Am I the only one who thinks Benanti may be a little mature for Anne? She obviously doesn't look "old" or anything, but I'd have trouble buying her as a completely naive girl. Isn't Anne only a little older than 18? Or am I making that up?

Anne is young, but as long as there is a big age difference with Fredrik, it's okay. She was fine as Anne with Garber's Fredrik in the Los Angeles Opera production (which was absolutely astounding).
I'm so excited!!!
