Audra McDonald.
Enough. Said.
Why would they do CHICAGO when they're close to NYC, and CHICAGO is hot on Bway? If I were the average person - I would def. pass this up - because you can just catch CHICAGO on Bway for about the same price (Rush Tickets)
Are they getting the equity Chicago tour? Or is there a new non-equity tour launching, that I haven't heard about yet. NJPAC usually gets non-equity shows.
Originally, they had The Producers on there too, but that tour was obviously post-poned.
I agree that it seems odd to bring in the touring production of a show that is still playing on Broadway, when NJPAC is literally a ten minute train ride from the theatre district. They won't allow community theatres to do certain shows within a 75 mile radius of NY, because it would "hurt business" for the NY production, but this is allowed. It blows my mind...

It's the equity tour.
Depending who is in the cast in the spring, I may go see it,
especially with 1/2 tickets through njartstix.org
Why would they bring the tour so close to Broadway? I'm confused. I imagined it would be more of a regional production of CHICAGO. Like Papermill does with shows.

Why two ALW shows back to back? Why not do a Sondheim?

I don't get it too! Especially being so close to NY.
I'll be there for Millie, simply because I love Millie.
This theatre is huge, but the far away seats are really cheap so take it from there.

Is Evita worth it? It's coming to where I live too around Feb. I've never really heard anything from it. How is it? Good Music? Good sets? ETC.
Also, they did do the same thing w/ Chicago as they did plan w/ the Producers. The Producers is still goign strong on B'way.
