Hehe, very cute article.
Testing, she went to my high school. She's pretty much the school's pride and joy.
Mostly on topis...in general here. Did anyone see the Xanadu group in the Pride march yesterday? I was with my church at spot #21 so I didn't get to see anything else ~ we all went to someone's apartment courtyard and crashed afterwards.

Yes. I can't recall which float they were paired with, but there was a float that had a Xanadu banner as people in tees on skates passed out flyers.
Cool. :) One of our guys was on blades and in a kilt. It was a lot of fun.

Cool. It was fun... seemed to go on ALL day! :-P
It is long. And it moves at a turtle's pace. Start and stop for traffic. Start and stop for traffic. Everyone in the St. Bart's group was amazed that we were done as soon as we were (around 3). They said there had been years they hadn't even started moving by then.

Yes, the start and stop was getting bad... especialy towards the end. They help the last THREE floats for traffic. Would twominutes have killed them? At least I was at a main cross street, so I had a good laugh at tourists wandering along the street and perched atop tour buses looking rather confused.....
Yeah...tourists and Pride are so fun! I was volunteering at the One in Ten booth at DC's festival a couple of years ago, and we had a bunch of families stumble into the fest looking fir the Archives. Also Japanese tourists. My friend and I who were handing out One in Ten stuff for the first couple of hours had our pictures taken a LOT with Japanese tourists who stumbled in. I still don't think they got what it was.
That was extremely cute.
She's awesome. :)

Awesome !! I had forgotten that she was from Bensonhurst !!
I plan on stagedooring Sat, and having never met her, it will be an easy ice-breaker, having lived in Bensonhurst my whole life.
If I ever met her, I'd use the whole high school thing as an ice breaker. It's funny, the teachers I had who also taught Kerry said she would always say she'd be on Broadway one day. Sure enough, it happened!
36?!?!?
Kerry, what kind of moisturizer do you use???
Been a fan since seeing her in "Hairspray." Loved her in "Xanadu."
She is only 36, you guys are making it sound as if she were 70.
I think the poster meant it the opposite way, Muscle...
She looks much younger than 36 !!!

Kerry was the oldest of the original Hairspray kids, but you'd never know.
She is a VERY stunning woman.
I wasn't implying that 36 is old.
But she really does look a good 10 years younger.
