While true, I don't think that is necessarily creative or rare. But it does beg the question why people sayit should have just stayed off-Broadway, when it also lost money and closed there. Unless it closed for reasons other thanticket sales?"
I'll bet that it was always too expensive to run for the size of the venue. 'Gee, we're losing money here because there's not enough seats...let's move to a larger theatre' without 'and how many seats will we need to sell at the larger theatre AT NON-PREMIUM prices, in order to breakeven each week and return our investment. Can't have one without the other and succeed, as they proved.
