I was 3 rows from the front and I had a great view. Never obstructed, etc. I loved the show.

There is something that feels deeply unfair about amazing shows like this that never make it to Broadway... but we have Escape to Margaritaville headed to the Marriott Marquis. It just makes me upset.

I feel the same way. I feel like the Tonys should include "different" spaces like St. Ann's and The Park Ave Armory. But maybe that's a selling point of those shows - to not have to content w/ the awards season, etc.

Holy $hit.
Best show of the year, hands down. Saw tonight's closing and I'll remember it forever. The monologue to the therapist in the beginning about the realization that we all turn to ashes and how disappointing that is was devastating. The final scene with the mother was just gut-wrenching. I can't wait to buy this play and re-live this wonderful evening.
Denise was pure emotions during the bows. Such a powerful night.
St. Ann's brought back Black Watch. Please bring this back. Or Let the Right One In. Or the Young Vic's Streetcar.

I don't know this "St Ann's" of which you speak but if they brought "Black Watch", "Let the Right One In" AND "People, Places & Things" to NY then DAMN they have some good taste. It will now feature on all future NY trips.
Denise Gough should win every award going. And hopefully she would only be competing with herself for the Tony for Angels in America anyway! Though PPP is the show I'd award it to her for - hamds down.

PPP at St Anne's was not on Broadway, so unfortunately not eligible for a Tony.
