"And while individual performances were competent, the cast looked programmed rather than sparked by crisp and enthusiastic energy."
This is my old tour that I was on for quite a while and this makes me sad. It makes me giggle though to know some girl is wearing my costume right now. I still would like to see it as I miss this production so much. It was such a special part of my life.
They will get better I am sure.
All the best to them.

if these are your reviews, why not just post them here?
They're not his reviews. You'd know that if you'd read them. Unless he works for newspapers all over the country.

Can someone under 18 have frequent flyer miles? LOL.
"During Tuesday's opening night performance at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Derek McLane's scenic design seemed as jittery as a colt just getting its legs to work. Sliding set pieces balked. Jo March's attic retreat refused to, well, retreat (at least not completely) to make way for other scenes. Body microphones acted temperamentally; technicians sometimes struggled to place props and furniture during blackouts."
yikes...
We get Dolittle this winter. End of January/beginning of Feb.

those poor people in Little Women! It's so hard for technicians to tour and try to play new spaces all the time. There's really nothing they can do...mikes fail, flying pieces miss their marks. Audiences don't realize that tour shows use local crews that are completely unfamiliar with the show. So stuff happens...
yikes exactly, in San Diego all went well in Little Women......
