Posted: 2/17/08 at 1:14amWow, did I enjoy Huge Jackman in the "Boy from Oz." He was fantastic, as he's in performing X-Man. What great creative talent and not to say good looks he has. Hoping he'll return to Broadway again soon!

During all the press he did for Boy, he went on in great detail about loving the Broadway community, the work, etc.
I am sure he would come back but it needs to be a role good enough to lure him away from that movie money for a year or two.

Posted: 2/17/08 at 5:21pmWe got to spend the afternoon with Hugh Jackman in the swimming pool of a private club in NYC a couple of days after seeing him in TBFO. He was the best company, not in the least "starry" and absolutely gorgeous. He loves Broadway so if someone finds him the right property I'm sure he will be back.

No, seriously. I like him just fine, but I'm not nuts about him. I'm the one that made the trek to see John Schneider in "Chicago"; she's the one that made it to see Hugh in "Boy from Oz." We have different obsessions! (The MC in my name is for Michael Crawford, another of my obsessions!)

Posted: 2/22/08 at 11:48amHugh has always said he doesn't like being away from the theater for five years, so BFO ended in 2004... not sure if the 2006 arena tour in Australia counts. But he has to stop being in demand for the movies! He's filming "Wolverine" right now - with Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth!

Posted: 2/22/08 at 11:55amthat's great Landladies, my boyfriend ended up having dinner with him after seeing the boy from Oz (somehow his dad knew someone who knew someone...etc) and he said he was the nicest, down to earth guy! My boyfriend was of course starstruck for the X-men factor, so he never really asked him about his love of theater:)
