Neil Patrick Harris, best known for his role as TV's favourite teenaged doctor Doogie Howser, had nothing but praise for our city and its rain-soaked faithful.
"The Edmonton people are so laid back, I must say," said Harris, who's in town shooting a Christmas-themed movie with Rob Lowe. "No fist fights so far, so that's pretty good, right?"
They are actually filming near this abandoned hospital in the heart of downtown and some other locations around the city; historic neighbourhoods. It would be great to catch a glimpse. I'm sure our local news and the CBC might have more on him in the future.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
