Back when I was a member of Musicals Dot Net, this was a very popular thread. I always liked it because it exposed me to new shows...after all, I was a 14-year-old theatre greenhorn!

Try to justify your picks with a few words! I'll start.

Heathers Vs. Dear Evan Hansen

Actually Alex, Threepenny Opera IS in English...

But anyway, I'd say Book of Mormon because it proved that anything can be successful as a musical if done well.

The Book of Mormon because it made me and my 70 year old Nana laugh hysterically ( we diddn't know anything about it before hand) and Anything goes has just never really captured me.
