I'm looking at tickets for Aladdin for the front row of the balcony. On the official seating chart, the first row of the balcony is A. But on Ticketmaster's site the first row is B. What am I missing here? I would really like to sit on the first row of the balcony, but don't want to be disappointed that there is a whole row in front of me after i purchase. Anybody have any info? Thanks.
Just looked at my ticket from when I saw Mary Poppins in 2009. I know I sat in the second row of the balcony, and my ticket says Row B, so unless they've reconfigured A should be the first row. It's ridiculously tight seating up there (but I'm a big guy). Hope this helps!

Could be an as-yet-unannounced rush policy for that row? Or if there is some "flying carpet" apparatus that needs to hook onto the balcony, they may not be sure what seats they can sell up there yet?

The front row for the balcony is actually B, at least for Aladdin. I bought tix for row B seats 30-32, right in the stage left corner. Hopefully my view isnt obscured, but emailing the theatre and dfisney productions said there should be no issue.
anyway, heres a link to the general New Amsterdam seating chart: http://www.ticketmaster.com/seatingchart/24614/51688
they must have changed the chart since Poppins, or possibly need the front row for rigging/platform.

Thanks for your answers. You provided more info than Ticketmaster, who stated "I don't know". I bought this morning, seat 110, center balcony.
