New Behind the Scenes with Gavin Lee

I am so happy I got an autograph and picture with him. I think this video is very interesting. Sorry if it already has been posted.

I'm curious as to what Lizzya has to say about Ashley Brown's insuations to her "sexy" undergarments.

That was a great video. I love the kids.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

re: New Behind the Scenes with Gavin Lee

The NY house is all in one piece, while the one in London comes apart in three pieces...probably due to space issues. (sorry, I enjoy noticing things like that). I love that set!
How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

So...as I watched the video, I realized that when I saw the show this past Wednesday...I missed a few things that were pointed out in the video...Mary Poppins sliding up the bannister and the Step-in-time guy dancing on the floor that isn't there. Does the bannister happen? I figured I would've noticed it...(however I also missed Mary Poppin's entrance because I was looking at the ripped up pieces of paper that were flying about the theatre)...

The bannister thing happens when the evil nanny (blanking on the name) gets lowered into the floor in her cage...at the exact same time, Mary slides up from the first to second landing. From what I can tell, a small post gets pulled open, she leans on it, flies up, and then she swings it back into the bannister during the dialogue ensuing. It's maybe no more than a foot long?

re: New Behind the Scenes with Gavin Lee

My 3 friends and I saw the show Saturday night and paid for one of the tours they were selling to benefit BCEFA. We met the two kids that were on that night and Gavin and got to be on and backstage. It was really cool. I had just seen the behind the scenes video with Gavin and mentioned it. He said it was much more stressful to be given a mic and a camera and an hour of tape to fill and that he'd rather be on stage where he knows his lines. :) One of the ass't stage managers showed us a few of the tricks but still a lot was left to "disney magic." He did mention that the house in London is 3 pieces and that the front of curtain scenes that kill time are a little shorter in NY because of the one piece. I completely missed Mary flying up the bannister during the show too ... I guess I was watching the cage sink down! We were really glad that we pooled our cash to take the tour and spend the 45 minutes up there! :)
