New Fantine at Les Miserables?

Is it possible that the end of this production of Les Miz might be imminent? Between this and Alfie Boe's scheduled departure, is it possible that they're starting to round up everybody out the door?

There is a new Fantine cast, she just hasn't been announced yet.

Montego did an interview with TheatreMania I believe and said her last day was February 4th.

Miss Saigon's not even here yet!

I saw her this weekend and I thought she was just awful. "I Dreamed a Dream" was whispered and the big notes were stilted. Her acting was labored and amateurish. It really just consisted of a sad expression, happy expression, and scared expression. I enjoyed her so much in Memphis so this was a huge disappointment for me.

ClumsyDude has already kind of disproved my theory, haha, but if what I originally posed were to be the case, it wouldn't be unheard of for the Imperial to have a brief limited run of some show in between Les Miz and Saigon, no?

I have really enjoyed this revival the four previous times I visited. But when I saw it with this new cast I was very disappointed. Did not like Alfie at all. He reminded me of an old man at church trying to sing --that arch in the back of the throat. YECH! I actually enjoyed Aaron Walpole (who was Ramin's understudy) more when he played the role. Poor singing, poor acting and just a very tired feel to it now.

I will not be going back.

I honestly enjoy the understudies more than the actual leads.

I hope the new Fantine is Betsy Morgan because she was amazing, but I doubt it'll be her. New Fantine at Les Miserables?
