Yeah, what happened to his career? I haven't seen Bierko in anything in ages.
Scary Movie 4...nuff said.

"who the heck is Craig Bierko?"
You're kidding, right? He was the star of the revival of "The Music Man", star of "Thou Shalt Not" (music by Harry C and co-starring Norber Leo whatshisname). He was on "Sex and the City". He is in "Scary Movie 4". He just did a pilot for TV. He was "Sexiest Broadway Star" from People Magazine. [November 2000]. Played Max Baer in "Cinderella Man"

It's perhaps a good time to bring up COMPANY, another Roundabout revival that was announced woud be remounted at a different Broadway theatre and was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
Part of me thinks PAJAMA GAME will suffer the same fate. Who really wants to see this thing? Honestly.
I mean, the show isn't going to win the revival Tony and I severely doubt Hugh Jackman or Ewan McGregor is waiting in the wings to replace Connick Jr. Craig Bierko would close this show faster than you can say THOU SHALT NOT. I can't imagine that happening without a name replacement for Kelli O'Hara.
It'll still do squat to make enough money for the revival to recoup. Especially after commercial producers are spending millions to transfer the show.
I would just let it close if they can't book a bigger name than Bierko.

Yeah, but add all that together and I don't think he's enough of a "name" to inspire tens of thousands to shell out $110 to see him live on stage.

sorry...im pretty out of it right now
:P
well, i think he could fill some seats with all those credits!

The rumor I heard was Craig Bierko and a big-name female.

Maybe you are right Margo but I would go see him. He was the best thing about "Thou Shalt Not". Maybe if they get him a name co-star it could work. I'm just glad that I might get a chance to see it since I won't be able to get to NYC before Harry leaves. I always liked the Doris Day film.
Maybe they can book Justin Timberlake and, instead of playing the piano, he can beat-box "Hernando's Hideaway."
Mabye they could get Jane Krakowski to play Babe. That woman can do no wrong!
I love her to death. But even Krakowski wouldn't sell tickets.

I sadly agree with FOAnatic.
My dream picks would be Brent & Reba.
Neither Krakowski or Craig Bierko would sell tickets. Someone the other day mentioned Tony Danza, and I don't even think he'd sell any tickets.
How about John Stamos and Robin Givens? LOL.
Brilliant!
Britney could wear the wrap-around mic and lip-synch. All the choreography will have to be changed.
But it has the opportunity to be greatness.
Foanatic- Your Justin Timberlake beat- box comment sent me into hysterics!
You know what would be great! Craig Bierko, and as Babe... Kate Levering! THOU SHALT NOT REUNION!!!
Don't laugh.
He's practicing as we speak.
Kate Levering is one of the least talented people to star in two Broadway musicals.

Would it be out of the question if they are negociating with Harry to do this engagement, too? I know he has previous committments that prevent a lengthy extension, but is it possible that the committment is a summer-only type thing?
It doesn't make too much sense to re-open the show without Harry. He's the one selling tickets, I do hope the producers realize that...
Michael Bennett, i love you.
made me laugh out loud. SO true.
Tony Danza? Good God, somebody please say that was a joke, too. Are they going to get Tina Yothers to play Babe?

I really don't care to see this show. I wish they'd bump Jen Cody up to at least U/S Babe. do you think it will be able to sell at a bigger theater? Is the American Airlines Theater rather small? Or no?
The American Airlines is indeed pretty small. Barely 800 seats.
