I am seeing Shuffle Along (now worried with that was a bad decision) , Hamilton, Fun Home and She Loves Me.

Going fro 8th -12th of May I have room for one more show. Any suggestions ?

And any Museums I should go to ?

Heard about Frick Collection and Morgan Library, The Met, Brooklyn Museum. Any hidden gems?

Booked Park Hyatt  (Hyatt Member ) Was that a bad decision?

Waitress should be the next hit.

Not to be confused with Dave19.

Waitress looks promising and the Color Purple is awesome.

I had just wrote about some museums which are free or pay as you wish, but i noticed your days so do not apply.  If you were in the City on Sunday morning, the Frick is pay what you wish.  I'm not sure if the price of admission (I think it is at least $20) was worth it.  I was more impressed with the house the collection is in. You can see it from the outside.  The Met Museum of Art is great.  It is pay what you wish anytime.  (Not the $25 some employees implied).  If you were there on Friday Museum of Modern Art is free.  However, their admission is well worth the price if you like modern art.  I haven't been to Brooklyn Museum so cannot comment.  However if you do go, I would walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and visit the promenade for great picture taking.

Sounds great! We'll be in town around the same time. Our top 2 were "She Loves Me" and "Shuffle Along" (don't worry). Saw and loved Hamilton and Fun Home last September.

For another slot - how about "The Humans" for a play or, the great revivals of Fiddler and The Color Purple - and the King & I from last season. Also "Long Days Journey Into Night" with Jessica Lange.

For museums, we're excited about the new Met modern art outpost in the Whitney's old home. However, the best bet for a 3 hour or so museum remains MoMA. (Hint - skip lines by paying a bit more [and taking advantage of cheap guest passes] and joining as an out-of-state member in advance).

Your location is great.

The Color Purple is probably my favorite show on now. So incredible. Blackbird and Eclipsed are also good

options over the Humans.

Also, American Psycho has very high expectations.  I'm very excited about that one.

I too always go in May and I LOVE the Fashion Institute Displays at the Metropolitan each year.  Runs from May - August.  Always Amazing Installations.

Hope you love Fun Home and Hamilton as much as I did! I am most looking forward to Waitress and American Psycho. I would also recommend Fiddler. Definitely agree about the Met. Can’t go wrong there. I always enjoy their exhibits. This year’s Costume Institute’s Spring Exhibition looks great!

I too am heading to broadway in the spring. So far I have 5 shows booked but am struggling with my last 2 slots. Right now it's between Color Purple, She Loves Me, and Eclipsed. Discounts will likely sway me a bit but any recommendations would be appreciated.

I agree with the posters who praised Color Purple.  It is truly exceptional.  You can feel the emotion emanating from the stage ..... truly exceptional.  I would like to add that before I saw the show I didn't think it would really be my cup of tea, and I went in hearing the show was excellent but thinking it probably wouldn't really resonate with me ..... was I wrong.  Please consider it.  The three most memorable musicals I have seen in the last couple years are Hamilton, Spring Awakening and Color Purple.

I haven't seen She Loves Me yet, but as we all know, word is that it is also very good.  Same goes for Dear Evan Hansen.
