Even if it wasn't the best in his musical canon (The fact he had to loop the underwear back into the narrative by saying "Remember how it all started with this?" was a tell), Mulaney still remains one hell of a sketch writer and the first Broadway musical he writes, I will throw my whole paycheck at and see multiple times.

Side Note: If he hosts one more time, he will be the first SNL writer (past or present) to join the Five-Timers Club without ever having been a regular cast member.

That's a little harsh, especially considering quizking and BrodyFosse both said they want him to write a BROADWAY musical - which Co-Op is not. Even if they didn't say "Broadway" specifically, I think it would've been safe to assume that they meant a full-length stage musical, not a 20 minute parody on a TV show.

Also, Documentary Now!’s mockumentary Original Cast Album: CO-OP is spoofing the documentary Original Cast Album: COMPANY, about the recording sessions of the 1970 Original Broadway Cast album for Sondheim’s COMPANY. It had zero to do with the documentary BEST WORST THING THAT COULD EVER HAVE HAPPENED.

Ok, if that's the case, then I apologize for getting up in arms. Tone is not always easy to read on the internet, and I do think you could have done a better job of making your playful intention clear, but I'm also sorry for jumping a conclusion.

"Co-Op: The Musical has been in the works as a full Broadway musical for awhile now with a full length cast album coming soon (what "soon" means post COVID who knows)."

Cool! Didn't know this. Would you mind directing me to your source, so I can learn more about this? I did a quick Google search but nothing relevant came up.

I didn't mean to "tear you apart" or "start sh!t" and I apologize for making you feel that way.

But also, I never claim to know everything about everything. If you follow my posts on this board, you'll know that I try to add value, while always being open to correction, and always admitting when I'm wrong - and trying to be respectful even in disagreement. I've lost my temper sometimes, I admit, but in general I try really hard to be level-headed in my posts on this board. I agree that not everyone is like that, so please don't lump me in with them.

^Fair enough, and actually Sutton, your comment made me realize that me picking apart MlleDaae's post that degree is probably only starting even more sh!t.
