I feel so ashamed!
All of us have overlooked the one and only choice that's right under our collective noses.
TGC should be rushed to the Helen Hayes Theater to replace Tovah in GOLDA'S BALCONT. I mean there's no reason to close the play if Carol's available to assume the role.

Actually, when I saw her do the monologue to Efram from Hello Dolly/The Matchmaker on the telly, she was moving and sweet.
But I must confess: When Guns N Roses was thinking of touring and looking for a new lead singer, Carol immediately popped into my mind.

Personally the role I would cast her in:
Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf "Georgieee, You maaayake meeeee puuuke."
I also think she would make a great Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman.
