I have. In fact, I've known about this for a week or so, as she and I are in the same Musical Theater Performers scholarship program at an NYC dance studio. I'm very happy for her!

I liked Gettlefinger in this role and she sounds great on the CD,

Matt was a great Joe Kennedy, but I didn't like him as Jerry. Maybe they'll get a new Jerry?

Erin Davie is very good indeed. I saw her in Infertility right here in NYC and she freaking ruled! She has a beautiful voice AND she can act! This will be a great show!

I saw her in Infertility too, as a friend of mine was in it as well, so when we were both accepted into the MTP program, I already had a clear idea of what she could do.

I just received the Cast Album. Listening to it now :)

That's kewl they are keeping most of the cast. So why is Sara not doing the show? I think she sounds like Christine E. alot on the recording. This has probably been discussed, but I missed it.

I love this show already.

Well, I'm only up to Track 15 (The Cake I Had).

So far I like it alot. I'm thinking that it would make more sense if I actually had seen it. But,I like the performances and the music.

I bought it based on hearing one song on XM Radio (Jerry Likes My Corn ) I didn't know much about the show at all, now I'm hooked. I'm getting the DVD of the Documentary this week.

Ok, now I'm up to The House We Live In... I'm liking the 2nd half of the show better.

I was at the CD signing tonight and Sara Gettelfinger was the only cast member not there for the signing. Sad that she had to be replaced, but I'm sure Erin will do a great job. Very excited to see this show! The cast recording is incredible.

I'm so glad Matt Cavenaugh is still in it...he is so hot (and looked great tonight at the signing!)

I'm excited for a "new kid" in her first big Broadway role. If she makes good, this will give the show some added "star is born" buzz.

I'm glad they're keeping Matt Cavenaugh, even though they auditioned replacements for him(!). It would suck to have your only Broadway credit be Urban Cowboy.

I was on the ALW tour with Erin Davie and she is a fine actress with a lovely presence and gorgeous voice. I wish her the best of luck in this show. It's a shame she won't be on the album as I'd love to hear her again.

Playbill.com's article spelled Sara's name wrong. (Sarah).

I love her, and knew she wouldn't be in the Broadway production, though I'm surprised the rest of the cast is intact. Ah well.

As much as I love Sara, I really hope Erin Davie does a great job. At least Sara's on the cast recording, right?

Sara didn't make the cut. She's great on the CD, but didn't quite have it in the production. Erin, does indeed look like the younger sister of Christine. That's what was missing. Hopefully, vocally, she can sound like a younger Christine.

I'm glad they stuck with Matt. But I thought he was weaker as Jerry. I'm sure he's had time to grow into the role. I've heard interviews with him and how much trouble he had with the Jerry part, but how much he grew to love it/him.

Still, the most exciting show to see. And see it soon, 'cause it ain't gonna run long. (Sadness) (I hope I'm wrong.)
