Is Fiddler possibly transferring? I know it’s a different production, but we just had it on Broadway.

Everyone's Talking About Jamie - haven't heard anything but wishful thinking

Jagged Little Pill - not planned for this season

Fiddler on the Roof - expoloring options, they have iterest, will be deciding early October what route to go

I understand this production of Fiddler is a bit different since it's in Yiddish, but i really don't think it's necessary to come back right now. The last production was wonderful and less than three years ago, this would have a quicker turnaround than the recent Glass Menageries. Plus the most recent production only lasted a year or so and I feel that was more commercially viable than this one. Always willing to be proven wrong, but I can't imagine it working.

I don't personally disagree with you, but our opinions don't equal business decisions.  (See the article someone posted in the Fiddler thread).

 

I have to tell you, though - I found this production FAR more thrilling than the last revival on b'way.- in almost every way.
