Any word on what's the following folks next theater projects might be?

Cyndi Lauper
Tim Minchin
Lin Manuel Miranda - is there any show he's working on, apart from Freestyle Love Supreme?
Anais Mitchell
Pasek & Paul
Shaiman & Wittman
Duncan Sheik
David Yazbek

Some other names on my list who I like to follow, with their next projects

Elton John - The Devil Wears Prada musical, had a recent reading. Any rumors about when this will be seen on stage?
Dave Malloy - he seems to have more going, with the recent Moby Dick, and upcoming Octet & Ghost Quartet productions
Sondheim - Bunuel musical, no real updates on this
Jeanine Tesori - is Soft Power coming to Broadway anytime soon? It seems to be selling decently @ The Newman.
Andrew Lloyd Webber - new age Cinderella retelling with a queer angle

Pasek and Paul - no clue about stage projects but they have two live-action films (Snow White remake and Evan Hansen adaptation) to write for, as well as two animated films (The Planets and Medusa).

Duncan Sheik has The Secret Life of Bees most likely Broadway-bound.

That is a awesome list, thank you lachri5! You have some folks I didn't have on my list, but really should have. I didn't know about a lot of these works, curious to see how some pan out, if they ever do.

Any word for folks missing on lachri's list? Really curious to know if we'll see any new work from Bareilles, and Shaiman & Wittman anytime soon.

Isn't Jeanine Tesori also writing an opera of Lincoln in Bardo?

According to the article I found Tesori is composing the opera Grounded and the other female composer the Met commissioned, Missy Mazzoli, is working on Lincoln in the Bardo.

I remember hearing Tesori was also writing an opera about Eugene O’Neill with a libretto by Tony Kushner.

According to the below article, 'Bandstand' creators Rob Taylor and Richard Oberacker have been recently working on a musical about the creation of the film 'Jaws', to be named 'Bruce' (after the shark). I'm not 100% sure if I should be taking this seriously, heh.

Regarding Anais Mitchell, she has recently said "People keep asking me about [a new musical], but I'd [like?] to make solo records and songs. It's nice to be in the world of music again." Nevertheless, I hope she does do another show someday.

Has anyone heard anything about 'La La Land' composer Justin Hurwitz having any plans to do another musical, whether on stage or on film? I haven't heard anything, but I'd like that to happen.
