I know we don't know what the tour set will be like, but assuming it's the same or similar to the Broadway set, can you see what is going on at the third level sitting from the 2nd or 3rd rows?
Thanks
not really, only a little on the second set (whatever happens on the edge)

Keep in mind that the tour houses are going to generally be bigger than the Booth and (even though it will go unused) most theatres have orchestra pits separating the audience from the stage. Depending on the theatre, the first few rows might be awesome.
Speaking of front row, does anybody know how lottery has been recently? I'm going to try to do the matinee Sunday after the flea market but I bet it might be crazy.
I did the lottery a Friday a few weeks back at got a ticket! (only about 3 people didnt) and then did it again the following Saturday matinee and did win, however, there were 55 entries, the one thing i learnt from my observations, the people who enter later on in the half hour are more likely to get tickets! (i was fifth to last, and myself and all 4 after me got tickets!)

Its been slow on weekends because of the Jewish holidays. Rain is also a good indicator that it will be slow.
What theatre will you be seeing it at? I personally would sit a few rows back considering it's a high set. I can't wait to see how it will look at the Ahmanson!
It will be at the 'fabulous fox theatre' St Louis. MO.
They are selling seats in the "ORCH PIT" and "FRONT ORCH" section

Is it called orchestra pit because it's close to it or (assuming it is possible) can they 'convert' the orchestra pit and have extra seats?

Sorry to bump, but do they offer any cheap priced tickets for those who didn't win the lottery?
And if I were to chose between lottery and the last row of seats, would you recommend those last row as far as the view of the stage is concerned?
You can usually get some pretty good seats with the coupon codes they're always offering. Or opt for the very last row in the Mezz (it's between $36 and $41.50). Yes, you're in the very back, but you can still see everything just fine. I've seen the show three times from those seats and never felt like I was too far from the 'action', so to speak.

They usually do lotto loser seats. They've been $40 lately. They even offered them for Alice's last but they were $69
Lately they've been $40
In the Orch.
Personally, I think N2N is a better experience close up. The acting performances are so heartbreaking and nuanced that I believe closer is better. Not much happens up top, so you miss little to nothing by being close.

Many theatres have the ability to cover the pit and have extra seating in that area. The Fox in St. Louis is HUGE. If you are not accustomed to seeing shows in houses that big I recommend getting as close as possible, as it's not going to take much for that show to feel dwarfed there.

Yea, the fox is like damnnnn big. I'd get up close.
And Next to Normal is worth the price.

The Fox has a hydraulic orchestra pit, so they raise it to floor level and can put 120 seats inside it. Very good seats. I sat there for the RENT tour last year. The regular first row is significantly farther the stage than most because the pit is so large.
