I saw the matinee today. It's a GREAT production! I think the cast is strong and will fill in the little missing pieces as they get settled in to the run. No one should read in to "missing pieces". What I mean by that, is that there are a few (very few) times were it still feels a little mechanical, probably because they are only on performance number 4.

First row at the Ahmanson for N2N will be a little close, but in a good way. The theatre is pretty large. If you can score seats in the first 10 rows, it will be a similar feeling to the Booth.

I think both locations (orch vs. mezz) are different experiences. In the Orch I find myself following Diana mostly. In the Mezz, I'm more closely following Natalie's journey. Odd that a seat location can do that, but kind of cool.

I just saw the N2N set up in the Ahmanson. I would say that 4th row is ideal! 1st - 3rd are very good though, but yes, you will miss the top tier. But whenever Gabe is doing anything up there, he is leaning down which you can totally see.

Mondays are usually a bigger night because there are only a handful of shows open. The lotto has really picked up since they announced closing. I've gone 4 times in the last two weeks and only one once.

Dontevenstart is exactly right. All it takes to get your Equity card is to be offered an Equity contract. The initiation fees are approx. $1200 (so ten full price tickets). I think the producers know its worth it to spend the $1200 to get Billie on stage for the week.

Its been slow on weekends because of the Jewish holidays. Rain is also a good indicator that it will be slow.

Keep in mind that the tour houses are going to generally be bigger than the Booth and (even though it will go unused) most theatres have orchestra pits separating the audience from the stage. Depending on the theatre, the first few rows might be awesome.

Kind of weird that they are putting Marin and Alice at the same table...
