I know, I was being sarcastic.
Anyway, Michael Berry is Dan again this evening. Bobby must be sick.

I thought I heard she was out a day last week. Or maybe that she's GOING to be a day next week.....Oh, yes...on the mystery cancellation day.

I saw the show on Sunday night and thought the same thing as the OP. Except Jennifer was the highlight for me as was Kyle Dean. I thought that Alice was horrible though. Great actress but her voice made me cringe everytime she opened her mouth.
I don't get why people think that Kyle Dean looks to old. He is youthful looking just like Aaron is IMO.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. I just wonder how you could love the CD (which you stated in another post), but then cringe at and hate Alice's voice. Alice sings quite a lot on the CD! Not sure if you stage doored, but was she not nice to you? I doubt that because she is incredibly nice to and chatty with everyone.

It's apparently a night when all the concierges at hotels in the city (and I guess surrounding area) are invited to attend a show so that they can better sell it to their guests. Apparently it's usually done during previews or shortly after opening, but at lest the last I'd talked with this guy, there had not yet been one.
I don't know that that's what's going on, but it strikes me as possible. Especially if it was announced before Meaghann going on was.

People sound different on CD's then they do live. Yes I did SD and Alice was very nice to everyone there. She wasn't chatty though and looked very tired.
What does her niceness at SD have to do with me not liking her voice?

Posted: 6/17/09 at 7:46pmI hope that you have a chance to go again if you have an interest...as I think it sounds more like an off night. I said before the Tony Awards that I thought Mr. Spencer was being overlooked in all of the speculation....some poeple chimed in saying that his work, while very good, was not on the same level as the other nominees. I couldn;t more strongly disagree. He totally breaks my heart during the reprise of "I Am the One." I love this show because just about each time I listen to the cast recording, I discover another "layer". With some shows, everything is very much on the surface, but that is so very not the case here.
