Next to normal merchandise

Does anyone know if there is a magnet for this show. I went early on and they didn't have one.

re: Next to normal merchandise

There was when I went. Simple, the standard playbill/marquee art. I think 8.00? (I went with the pointless pillbox instead, because it was so excessively tacky of them to even manufacture one.)

Yes, they have magnets now.

Supposedly, according to the merch guy, they're getting a new shirt soon that says, "Valium is my favorite color." However, as of Tuesday, they had not arrived.

Of course they had no magnets when I was there a month ago. Think they'll be available online?
The Overture is part of the show, people. Please shut your pie hole.

Yeah, they're getting a bunch of new shirts in the next few weeks or so.

re: Next to normal merchandise

I bought an awesome N2N magnet on Wednesday for $5....it's lavender and has the eyes and says Next to Normal with the shows logo.....I love that artwork.

yes, they have magnets re: Next to normal merchandise
It's funny, I was going to post the same question a couple of weeks ago..The 1st time I went, they didn't, but last time I saw it they did.....damn, did anyone really care for all that info? hehe
That's my only souvenir..a magnet!
speaking of magnets...33 variations never had a magnet, did they?

re: Next to normal merchandise

33 Variations had a magnet -- it was just the title in orange in its usual font on one of those Lucite magnets. Nothing special. Did Dividing the Estate have a magnet? Lincoln Center usually produces one for its Broadway shows (and I think most of the Newhouse shows too), but I don't remember ever seeing one.
"What was the name of that cheese that I like?" "you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start" "well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"

Seriously?

re: Next to normal merchandise

I bought a next to normal tee and window card on this site
www.broadwayauction.com
I think they have other merchandise also from next to normal

re: Next to normal merchandise

As far as I know, Dividing the Estate did not have a magnet..or at least it did not when I went. It had such a short run, I'm sure one might have been produced if it were going to be "extended" oh well

re: Next to normal merchandise

I went last week and was really disappointed with the merch! I am glad to hear that there will be new shirts! The window card was only 10 or 15 dollars! What a bargain! Haha, not really, but it is compared to other shows!

re: Next to normal merchandise

Yikes, I find those t-shirt sayings very disrespectful and tacky.

re: Next to normal merchandise

The "Valium" shirt is up on playbill.com. They have unisex and woman's, as well as a "superboy" shirt.

Is the "Valium" shirt available in the theater yet? If so, how much is it?

Also, any word on the show program?

Thanks!

re: Next to normal merchandise

i went the other week,

they have two magnets for $5, one with standard poster style, one with a quote, the one diana says about "thinking and being happy" i got both.

they had 3 t-shirt designs: one with "superboy" on which i bought, one with the standard next to normal stuff, and one with the valium quote.

they also had a really nice keyring which was $10, and then the poster.

it'sjustshowbiz: the t-shirts, including the valium one was $25 last week

i really wanted a brochure type thing, but they didnt have one.

hope this helps, will be happy to answer any other merch questions as only went in the past week.

re: Next to normal merchandise

Thanks! Do you happen to remember the price on the Valium shirt? I'm interested in the woman's, but any info would help.

Thanks!

re: Next to normal merchandise

Magnets were $5, T-shirts were $25, poster was $10, keyring was $10,
pill-box was $15 (i think) and has most things in stock.

the playbill store has most of the stuff, including the superboy t-shirt (which i think is newish) and the keyring, magnets.

do you know if they are getting any more stuff, or if they are doing a brochure?
