Nick Adams is out on injury - who is taking his place?

I read on Twitter that Nick Adams (in Priscilla) is out due to injury and is in physical therapy right now. Who is taking his place? I think the dance captain Eddy Soto (?) would be good.

I have seen the show and he has a very physical role (and a body to prove it) ... Theater actors are seriously very athletic. Theater is a sport. I am always so impressed by the actors in the shows I see. It does not surprise me people get injured.

there is no eddy soto in the show, the dance captain is eric scioto, his understudies are steve schepis and bryan west, bryan usually goes on for nick!

I saw the show last night and Bryan West was on.

Also they had to stop the show. The bar that comes out of the stage during Shake Your Grove Thing and Pop Musik got stuck when it was going down. I had noticed when one of the ensemble guys slid forward to give the Ping Pong ball back to Cynthia, his foot slid under the the lift. There is fabric on the front to cover. His foot went through the fabric and I guess detached it from the bottom. SO when it came down the fabric was getting stuck between the stage and the lift. Tony Sheldon tried to push it down when he did not have lines but it did not work.

Thank you all the info and corrections. I just can't imagine someone else doing that role.

I thought I read it will go on tour for 2012 and I am wondering if the three leads will continue. Somehow I think Will Swenson will stay in NY as he did when the HAIR tour began.

That very same thing malfunctioned on opening night in Toronto and they had to stop the show.

Saw Bryan West at today's matinee. He was great. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the show. It was a lot of fun :)

Def. saw Nick and his boyfriend at Home Depot of all places and he def. did not look injured to me. And I think his bf is in the show, no?

Why? Because he wasn't limping? Wasn't in a wheelchair?

There's a big difference in being able to walk around Home Depot and being able to dance for 2.5 hours a night, 8 times a week.

Because he was running amok in Home Depot. Running around, jumping on things, slapping his bf's ass. I'm not sure what he broke, but doesn't seem like it's causing too much pain. Maybe it's the heels?

Trust me, if he could be back in the show, he certainly would. He's going crazy not being there. I think he is just waiting for the doctor's clearance.

Bryan West is wonderful. Im sure he's great. He was a wonderful Fiyero in WICKED. Nick Adams is fantastic too. Speedy recovery.

PS-You can have an injured hip and slap your bf's ass in Home Depot. Just sayin'.

It sounds like hes back or will at least be back soon considering he just performed at Bryant Park.
