I have no clue what regale means adamgreer but check your inbox. It's the proof you want that I will NOT post on here. If you want to pass it on to TimeSquare3 then be my guest.
Yes Julie has been very outspoken and public about wanting to be lead. She loves to work and has said that on many occasions. Lisa loved being standby but she wanted to be lead also. When she came back from Chicago she turned down the offer to be standby again since she wanted lead also. Being standby for her meant that she could go to school and do other things.
Katie Adams should quit bitching about being lead. She has been Standby off & on since 2005. If it were going to happen it would have already. Glad to see Julie recognizes that & is getting out of Wicked.

Schmerg Being A Nerd Moment: Okay, basically 'regale' just means to relate a story to someone. Like, "Bob regaled us with the story of how his family was trampled to death by Rentheads." Yep.
If Julie hasn't been offered the part then she probably won't get it. I think shes great, but maybe they don't think she can't handle eight shows a week. Who knows, (she got plenty of practice when Kerry was still on...go figure she improves now that she is back in London).
Anyway, I think Nicole will be great :)
I saw Ana Gasteyer.. she actually did throw a lot of comedy into the role, but it was her last performance so it was still very touching. She has a pretty voice but it was nothing spectacular. Nicole seems more exciting, I can't wait to see her.

Thanx Schmerg. I guess I could have looked it up myself but I was too lazy...LOL.
She was terrific in Fame Becomes Me, and I wish her the best. If she can pull this off, she should be considered if a revival of Funny Girl ever happens.
