Playbill says Cynthia Nixon and Lin-Manuel Miranda will announce the Tony noms at the Public Library for the Performing Arts on May 5.

I'm a Fordham student, so I'm curious as to whether members of the public are allowed to see this, or if only members of the press are allowed.
This subject confused me far more than it should've done. First the only Nixon I could think of was Richard, then I remembered Cynthia. But *then* I figured it was Miranda from Sex and the City, but I really couldn't figure out how Nixon would be announcing the nominations with herself without it becoming terrible.
... it's been a long day.
I myself had visions of Cynthia Nixon announcing the Tony nominations in character as Miranda.

Haha add me to the list of Miranda/Cynthia Nixon confusion.

ATC just posted a press release saying that the noms will be broadcast on the Clear Channel screen in times square
I also took Miranda to refer to the Sex and the City character and Nixon to refer to the dead president.
I need to sleep more...
Can anyone go and watch them announce the noms?
