It's August, and we didn't get one this year. That makes me sad.

They released a box set with all 3, so maybe the third was the last?

I would hate to think this series is over. It was quite wonderful.

I hope it's not over! I love that series. I am still waiting for some of my favorites to make it on.

They called it a trilogy when they aired it I think, but maybe if we write to PBS?

they released the box set with 4- the 4th one is tony's best plays.

I hope not as there are so many more musical moments to be released

There is also a ton of material from Ed Sullivan that is a gold mine

ooo- A compilation of "Ed Sullivan" material would be amazing. Personally, I would rush out to buy the DVD if they ever compiled all the Broadway "Today Show" performances.

Agreed. I have the Ed Sullivan DVD, and it's great. It's as good as the Broadway Lost Treasures series. Don't they also have out a leading ladies DVD from the same series?

They could do many more installments on this series. It's one of the best there is out there.

On the Ed Sullivan DVD they said a second one was coming out, but it has been over two/three years now. It had some awesome stuff too, melba moore in Purlie, Liza in Flora,

Those numbers aren't exactly lost treasures. I was very dissapointed that they put the revival of Into The Woods on the last one, that is a treasure, but not a lost one.

first let's get those numbers left out from the 70's and 80's before we head into the 90's and present.

A Chorus Line, Dreamgirls, etc. Then again, you can find most of those lost treasures on that "u-2b-dot-calm"

Sadly, the Ed Sullivan title didn't sell very well, so further editions seems unlikely.
