Still hoping to catch Noah this week. By the looks of things, a change in casting hasn’t hurt sales or re-sales for DEH. Stubhub is still getting big $$$ for these performances. I was hoping that the prices would drop after Ben left but it doesn’t seem the case.

I’m seeing the show this Friday night and am so excited. Not sure what insight I would be able to provide, however, because it will be my FIRST time seeing DEH, so I have no comparisons to make besides what I have seen of Ben on the Tony’s, etc.

I heard him rehearsing for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in a video on Youtube and he was fantastic! It was like it Ben Platt and Will Connolly combined their voices. Whoever sees it, you're so lucky!

Absolutely, Michael Lee Brown is incredible as Evan IMO and really holds the show just as Ben did (I have seen MLB once and Ben twice). As long as there's a good Evan, the show holds up. Just a question as to whether whatever Evan happens to be on is a good Evan who can pull off those complicated emotions on stage and work with the audience the way Ben, and MLB, do.

Per the email Telecharge sent out after Ben's last cancelation, MLB is continuing Wednesday and Saturday matinees at least through Noah's run.

It's also stated on the Telecharge website that MLB is doing Wed/Sat matinees.
Anyone have specific knowledge on Friday matinee's performer?

Really q, please, open your mind, someday someone will play this role better than Platt and it might be this guy. This show wasn't a hit because of Ben Platt.

Sure, I would imagine by now the actor who'll be playing the role on Friday would have knowledge. Probably most, if not all of the rest of the cast would know and I'm sure production management probably knows as well. Suggest you "check-in" at the box office on Friday morning. They might know by that time as well. And if you check-in, just remember, this is a play not an airline trip.

He seems both cocky and lacking confidence at the same time, really strange. But his voice sounded really clean and fresh in the clip of the parade rehearsal, so, *shrug*. Hopefully he brings it on stage. Looking forward to watching the parade on tv tomorrow.
