I need a song for a girl and her brother... it does not necessarily have to be a Broadway song, but definitely preferred. The brother has a rather large range, but likes to be a Bass II and the girl is an Alto with a belting range up to a B, but can sing up to a high C. Please let me know if you think of anything, it really can't be romantic (for obvious reasons).
Thank you. Any suggestions welcome!

the obvious one would be "anything you can do" from annie get your gun, tango: maureen maybe? or "i'll never be jealous again" from the pajama game

What about "Rita's Confession" from Lucky Stiff? The 2 characters in the song are actually brother and sister.

"Therapy" from tick tick BOOM! isn't necessarily a romantic song -- it's quite funny and wholeheartedly un-romatic, basically.
"I Am Aldolpho" is also fantastic, from Drowsy Chaperone. :)
Anything from John and Jen.

Dogs Versus You from Lucky Stiff is one of my favorite nonromantic boy/girl songs.
"Two Lost Souls" from Damn Yankees - great song.
Are there any songs that are slow and beautiful? I've listened to most of these and they are fast paced and very much scene/character-ish pieces. I would like to do something that would make sense in a concert if it was sung alone.

Obvious one is "The Perfect Nanny" from Mary Poppins, but that's for a much younger brother/sister team.
With some re-written lyrics, "Bossum Buddies" from Mame could be funny as a brother/sister duet.

Just in case you didn't catch Jensen's hint- John & Jen.
What show is John and Jen from?
Some of the songs I checked out, and they are romantic. I find that odd, not meant for a brother/sister duo.

John and Jen is the name of an Andrew Lippa musical
Also....although "Therapy" is a comic song I don't think a brother and sister would want to sing "it's too late to screw!" at end...LOL
i know this is going to sound silly (and totally off topic) but can i just say how nice it is to be the company of showqueens who KNOW what John and Jen is?!
Unworthy of Your love from Assassins
What could be better from Baby
It takes Two from Into the Woods
Every Goodbye is Hello from John and Jen
Can I find sheet music for all of these? I really like some of your choices Gclef!

There's always "I Miss You, Old Friend" from Dreamgirls, a brother and sister duet.
