There'd be good stuff for DRACULA, the musical too..especially with the synthesizer orchestra, over the top unnecessary scenery, the Kelli O'Hara "nudity" scene with PG rated matinees, the whole cast recording saga, etc.!

Will you double check gvendo? I don't see The Red Shoes mentioned once in my copy. Also, is there something on your volume that says 2nd edition or expanded edition? What's the latest year on the publishers page? Maybe there's something interesting where the printing numbers are indicated? Cool.
I would love to read ANYTHING by Mandelbaum. I've been reading Mordden's book and he does not compare to Mandelbaum's sly wit and economy of language. I am enjoying Mordden's work, however.
I've long admired the promo art for The Red Shoes and cherish the Playbills a friend in high school gave me after she returned from seeing it.
