My good friend, Trevor played chip for 2 years and he was really upset when it closed. He goes to my camp so i was talking to his dad about the crowd that night and he was telling me about how it was so big that he couldnt walk down 46th street. I never got to see the show and i wish i did.
Ready 2 Defy Gravity, I was actually referring to Steve Blanchard's singing at the very end of act one, where he totally ignored the music and started doing a Defying Gravity riff in its place. It was pretty funny.
testing...maybe the less diverse crowd was among the invited peeps with the bigwigs. LOL. Not the commoners. :P
Well you know the gays run Broadway! But we were in the back and to the side, so weren't as special as the other bigwigs. :)

I still get choked up when I think that Beauty has closed. While it wasn't my first musical, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. And my friends and I skipped our senior prom and went to go see this instead. First row with Christy Carlson Romano playing Belle. We had gone to our junior prom and, in my opinion, this was a lot more fun!
I'm glad I got to see it last Thursday, before it closed. I'll miss it.
I still can't belive it's closed!! When I go back to NY im gonna be lost because I'll be the one standing in Times Square looking for the Beauty and the Beast sign!!! Broadway just won't be the same!
This was the first show I ever saw on broadway. I still remember walking in the theatre and taking my seat and just being so excited! It's such an amazing show that has touched so many people! Beauty and the Beast is pretty much the definition of awesome theatre.
Im seeing the Little Mermaid in December, but everytime i walk in that theatre Im gonna think back to me skipping down the aisles and jumping in my seat waiting for the curtain to come back up! I'm gonna miss it so much!!!
