I am incredibly happy to see they filmed this, which I hope happens more often with Broadway shows. Nick and John are geniuses and it's been a riot so far.

I was so disappointed to be out of town for the entirety of the run. John Mulaney is my absolutely favorite comedian and I still have never seen him live, but I'm so glad they filmed it.
That scene where he's like "don't make me start screaming revelations" reminded me of most of The Price's second act.

Was there a guest at any of the performances that were filmed, or did they leave that out of the taping?

Watched this the other might and loved it!! So glad it's preserved, as it did not make the cut on my trip to NYC during the run. Their accents alone had me rolling on the floor!

I finally finished this and it was hysterical. So glad it was preserved. The screaming at the chair bit had me rolling and Steve Martin was hilarious as the guest.

The aftermath of Steve Martin's sleight of hand had me doubled over for a solid five minutes. The whole thing is so dense with laughs, it's going to be a solid rewatch for a while.
