Out of three tv-cast shows so far, do we think that this will run the longest?

Most certainly, with its huge advance its gonna clog up Drury Lane at least as long as 'The Sound Of Music' has wasted the London Palladium.

Im surprised that the S of M lasted so long in such a big venue. How long is Rowan Atkinson contracted for? Will he do a Michael Ball and keep extending or is he strictly in it for a limited time?

He plays only till mid July!
I don't think he will extend as per Michael Ball has.
He's already said that this will be a one of for him so i guess he just wants to go back to TV and movies. And cars!

Haha! Who could blame him?!lol

So will he be replaced with another 'name'? RA must have brought tons of publicity and probably sold a good lot of tickets.

On its original London Palladium run, Cameron ran out a whole load of 'star' names in its 3yr run- Jim Dale, George Layton (a favorite Fagin from Camerons production at the Albery in the early 1980s), Barry Humphries (Dame Edna) etc, no doubt he'll do the same and all in a blaze of publicity that will keep that box office on its toes for some time.

Got to say, I absolutely love Oliver! and I adored this production. Good luck to them.

I angled for tickets for tonight, what with it being my day of days tomorrow but my boss has decided he'd rather take his eight year old daughter. Next time I see that little bitch I'm going to pull her hair.

This is a great prime production of Oliver. I hope it gets a decent run :)

The reviews seem cynical but positive

The second paragraph of The Telegraph review says it all, it says what we have been saying on here all along.

The reviews are what i call a pretty mixed bunch.
