I usually HATE predicting the fates of shows as I find that a waste of time and somewhat pessimistic. However I'm one of the few that really really liked ON Your Feet, fueled mainly by my love of Gloria and her musical catalogue. Perfect show? Not really, but leaps and bounds better than Million Dollar Quartet and various other Jukebox musicals. That being said, with yesterday's announcement of the tour launching in Miami beginning October 5, 2017, I'm wondering if it's a sign that the Broadway show will be closing up shop by Labor Day, as this would be difficult to run with 2 simultaneous companies- given the ethnic casting needs.... I hope this show plays through the end of the year given how lucrative OYF seems to do from Nov-Jan... Thoughts?
