I think it’s super weird we haven’t heard any further announcements regarding the Damn Yankees revival… is it still happening for Soring 2027, perhaps they’re waiting for a current running show to announce their closing… it’s worth noting that as of right now The Imperial & Broadhuest Theatres currently have no announced future tenants… I hope this revival doesn’t go the way of the Dreamgirls revival…🫣

She was definitely robbed of a Tony for this performance! Her shattered kewpie doll performance was so delicate and fragile and ground breaking, she knocked this out of the park, and had her early vocal issues not plagued her, I believe her reinterpretation of the role was has set a new benchmark for future roses.

Wondering what happened to the planned transfer that was reportedly playing an extremely limited engagement at the Barrymore Theatre this fall to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11th Terrorist Attacks? We’re barely a month away from the anniversary and nothing has been announced or put on sale. Is it safe to assume the transfer is no longer happening at this point?

1.) Is there any real shot of this being preserved with a cast recording, not that it deserves to be, but from a posteriority standpoint, I’d think the producers would want to record it to strengthen its future licensing prospects for regional/community/high schools…2.) Given the enormous flop this was on Broadway, and the insane amount of money investors lost, is the plan still to send this show out on a non-equity tour?
