I have tix to ONCE ON THIS ISLAND on a Sunday evening (curtain time - 7:30) and there's a show at 54 Below at 9:30 I would love to attend. Is that possible? Does ISLAND ever run late? Does seating end at a certain time before show time at 54 Below because of the food service? Thanks in advance for the advice!

You have nothing to worry about. The show runs 1 hour and half, and the theater is only a few blocks from 54 below. I don't think significant tech malfunctions, if any, will stop the show too long since there aren't really many automated or huge set pieces.
As for 54 below, the time I went to Lea Salonga's first engagement, a family of 4 came in late about 20 minutes into the performance. So late seating shouldn't be much of a problem.

You shpuld be able to make it. Circle in tbe square isnt too sliw letting out..but will still take you 10-15 minutes to be on the street unless you can be one of the first out if your aisle.
All Broadway shows start 5 minutes late, but as long as you hustle, you'll make it...or only be a Dr minutes late - as the above poster said, you're not too far away.

Time saving tip: walk up 8th Ave, not Broadway. Less foot traffic.

Ah yes! Especially since 54 Below is closer to 8th than Broadway, if I am remembering correctly. Thanks!
