Once on this Island changes

Was the rain effect cut during the car scene? I saw it last fall and it rained very hard onstage during the car scene. I saw it again last night and it didn’t rain at all. I was wondering if it was cut.
I was also sad to see Hailey Kilgore left the cast.

I've seen the show several times and it always rained.

You had it right--it was her foot from landing wrong. According to her social media, she wants to come back as soon as she's medically cleared to do so.

As for the OP's question, I don't think it was cut; they did it at both performances I attended. Maybe there was a technical issue stopping them from doing it at your performance, OP? It's not the kind of thing they'd need to shut down the show for, so if it wasn't working they could just proceed as normal.
