If you had only one Broadway song to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?? And YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE! No making lists of the songs you would want to hear...only one.

For me, "Petrified"-Taboo, done only by Raul.

I love that song, and the musical! Screw all who don't!
Um, I guess my song would be I Don't Care Much. I'd want a line with just Alan Cumming singing, then a line with Raul Esparza, then a line with Norbert Leo Butz, the a line with Michael O' Donnell, then a line with Adam Pascal, then a line with Vance Avery, then a line with Jon Peterson...
Is that cheating???
Edit: Whoops, I left out NPH! I'd want him to be in the mix too...

No one loves Raul more than me, but you kiddies need a more mature frame of reference!
The best song to listen to is also the greatest Broadway song ever written. I'M STILL HERE from Follies. Preferably sung by Eartha Kitt.

Jess, that was the first song that actuallly came to my mind, but I had to go with IDCM.

Yeah, it never gets old. As you can see from my signature, definitely a favorite. And so amazingly fitting for tons of different situations. I actually just got the sheet music in the mail today (from Amazon), so exciting!!!

I dont think I can choose. I can't listen to things for really long periods of time without getting tired of it. Two weeks is about the maximum I can listen to a Cast Recording in my car with out switching (I drive alot). I think it might be a little easier if you let us pick an entire CD

i have a loophole for this i think...
it never says you can't listen to different artists singing that one song (i.e. rose's turn sung by everybody and their mother)
