One Two Three

I'm listening to Hey Mr. Producer, the musical world of Cameron Mckintosh(sp?) and theres a song sang by John Barrowman titled One Two Three, and I rather like the song but have no clue whatsoever as to what show its from. I figured someone here could help me.

It's from The Fix. There's a recording of the Original London Cast available also starring Philip Quast. It's actually not that bad, despite the show suffering a bit from not knowing what it's trying to be. There are a few good songs and the performances are overall outstanding.

I must bump this to spread the love.

THE FIX is a fantastic show. I can only pray it opens in NY one day. Maybe '08 for the election!

One never knows.

And another one! My gran took me to see The Fix when I was 15 but she didn't think to check the subject matter first, which made for an interesting evening! It does need some work, but I believe changes were made for the American premiere at Signature - would love to have seen what they made of it there...

Oh yes- a really great show and the London cast recording is fantastic with a stellar cast (incl. John Barrowman, Philip Quast, Kathryn Evans and Krysten Cummings).
All the best performers bring to their role something more, something different than what the author put on paper. That's what makes theatre live. That's why it persists. - Stephen Sondheim

Love that site. There are a few others.

Shame they cut so much music from the CD, though.

John Barrowman was born to be Cal.

Another Fix fan.
The fact that it was so good is part of the reason I was so diappointed with Witches of Eastwick.

I also LOVE that show. I think it has a wonderful score. Too bad there isn't a vocal selections book available. In addition to the aforementioned songs I love "I See the Children" and "Simple Words".
