Stephanie J. Block - Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL (I know she played the role before but she'd be perfect for a full-scale revival of the show)

Oh yes- a really great show and the London cast recording is fantastic with a stellar cast (incl. John Barrowman, Philip Quast, Kathryn Evans and Krysten Cummings).

Streep isn't 40 anymore but she's blessed with a fantastic voice. I'm not a fan of the show but I love to see the movie with Streep!

By the way... Rosemary Ashe is a fantastic actress and fine soprano. She also appeared in THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK and was the original Carlotta in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Interesting for me, no one mentioned the Original London Cast Recording starring Elaine Paige as Eva. I think Elaine is still the best Evita.

Oh yes Emily Skinner would rock the show. I can also see Ruthie Henshall as one of the witches. I think she even did the workshop of "Witches", but I'm not sure about that.

The moment when Nessarose on the WICKED cast recording sings: "...it's because I'm in this chair and you felt sorry for me". I don't know why but I love it!
