If you could only listen to one performer sing, who would it be?

Normally I'd say Adam Pascal, but I think Gavin Creel is gaining... lol

Gosh, this changes for me day to day, pretty much, but at the moment I'd have to say Michael Arden. The boy's voice just makes me so so happy.

If we're including non-musical theatre, then I'm adding Tori Amos and Jeff Buckley.

Adam Pascal, thank you very much.

Actually, most of the time I spend listening to music, it's him... so this is not quite a hypothetical. re: One person

<-- is crazy.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' And to answer the question: Adam Pascal.

That's a really easy one for me to answer: Rachel York. She's pretty much the only one I listen to every day. Everything else gets rotated according to my mood, but I never get tired of her lush vocals.

I've had to make my own compilation of songs from different cast recordings and CDs she's on in order to get one of just her music, but great news! She is releasing her very own CD this January 4 exclusively with Barnes and Noble. It's called, "Let's Fall in Love," and I understand she has recorded classic love ballads from Broadway. I have already pre-ordered mine and expect to receive it by mid-January. I'll give everyone my review once I've had a chance to listen.

I know, shameless shilling. But I can't help myself.

Hm...if there was only ONE person I could hear sing, it would have to be any of these - I can't decide one.
